What we collect
- Guest nicknames you choose for games
- Game data (moves, results) stored temporarily
- IP addresses for rate limiting room creation
- Session tokens and preference data stored in your browser (localStorage)
How we use data
We use this information to run games, reconnect you to your seat, prevent abuse, and operate the service.
Cookies and local storage
We use first-party localStorage for language preference, session tokens, and board settings. This is not the same as third-party advertising cookies.
Advertising
When advertising is enabled on MorrisLive, we may show Google AdSense ads. Google and partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. See Google’s advertising policies and “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.” When ads are disabled via configuration, ad placeholders may appear instead of live ads.
Analytics
Privacy-friendly analytics may be enabled later; when enabled it will be disclosed here. Analytics are off by default (ANALYTICS_ENABLED).
Retention
Rooms and game data expire automatically after a configured TTL.
